COVID-19 + Visitation Policy Update

With no current positive COVID-19 cases in our community, the following guidelines are in place:


  • Family members and guests must sign in and complete COVID-19 screening.
  • Masks are required in common areas for all persons.
  • Those visiting are asked to go directly to the resident’s room or apartment.
  • Visitation in common areas is not currently allowed.


  • Masks are optional for Independent Living and Assisted Living residents when Roanoke City risk levels are low to moderate, as determined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
  • Dogwood Lane residents are asked to wear masks when outside of their apartments.
  • When away from the community, residents are reminded to practice appropriate precautions.


  • Masks are required for all team members.


  • Team members should notify their immediate supervisor of any known exposures.
